Mercury is the final planet to create a square to Eris. Occurring overnight and into Saturday morning, there is a disruptive energy to the air. It can be a little kooky, zany, wacky. There is a madness to Mercury square Eris. This is like seeing into the working of the psyche. It’s not all pretty, it’s not all nice, but it works. Someway, somehow, all the complex personalities, dreams, hopes and traumas make life what it is.
At this point we have a full concept of the messiness needed to work through some wounding. Consider when you reorganize a room. You may end up with a pile of everything on the floor in the middle. This is progress. It doesn’t look like it, in fact everything is out of place. That, however, is exactly where things need to be to have a full reorganization. Socially and personally, this is what is going on.
One thing at a time. Stay focused, stay sober, stay grounded, rest when needed and take it easy on yourself and others.

Anger is a theme and it’s best to confront some of it now. Do some off-gassing now and then. We all have our ways of releasing pent up aggression and frustration. Do these practices. As we get to the Pluto transits, it would hurt a lot if we haven’t been releasing trapped energy.
Open up your windows and doors and let the cold air sweep through. Burn some incense or resin.
Maybe you need to laugh, cry, sing, scream, sweat, dance, workout, run, hike, have sex or eat a bunch of chocolate. Whatever you do to let the energy out, just do it!
Now that the Sun, Venus, Mars and Mercury have aspected Jupiter, Chiron, and Eris we move into the Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto portion of the dance. By Saturday morning, Venus has already made sextile to Saturn, trine to Uranus and conjunction to Pluto.

The conjunctions with Pluto begin with Venus on Monday the 19th.

The Sun conjuncts Pluto early AM on Friday the 23rd.

This indicates a very intense period of time. The issues that have unfolded over the last 7-10 days ((January 8th-17th)) will be the main talking points. The energy that has been driven to the surface reaches a fever pitch, so take it easy. The topics aren’t as important as they seem in the long run. They have meaning, yes, but they are being overworked, overthought, overanalyzed… kinda of like beating a dead horse. The media and humanity will juice every last bit of a sensationalized story during this time.
There is something kind of debased about personal planets meeting with Pluto. Certainly an uglier side of our divine expression. Normally people need to ‘eat’. Under Pluto influence, people ‘feed’ off of things. Kinda gross but it’s part of life. Look out for your own manipulation and control tendencies, they aren’t worth it and they will backfire. Expect scams and dishonesty to be themes. Trust your intuition and don’t do things or go places when you know there is danger.
Protests may become riots… Protests are not what they were in the 60’s. They have become very dangerous groupings of angry people with a seemingly undefined focus. I worry for those who are out there. I wonder how many people are being planted, paid or are even undercover. The controlling entities know that people will protest, they know where and when. It would be silly to think that they wouldn’t infiltrate and instigate within these gatherings. I think I am saying, try to find a better way to make an impact. Or, just be very careful, stay aware of your surroundings and try not to get caught up in mob mentality.
As the transits to Pluto occur, the truth behind the distractions will be available for everyone. Not all will want to see it, and instead will double down on analyzing different angles of a 30 second phone video. For those who are ready to look, I am thinking Iran finally comes to collective attention, hopefully for the benefit of its citizens.
This is also a time when results of impulsive choices come to fruition. Do with that statement what you will. This can be awesome, terrible, or just kind of neutral. Whatever we put in, we will get back. We can’t get away from God or ourselves. Make peace and be honest where you need to, don’t let the universe bring the teachable moment to you if you can do it yourself.
If you find yourself in tense circumstances externally, find your way to safety. If you find yourself in tense circumstances internally, make your way to a supportive person or place. Pluto doesn’t f&ck around, you shouldn’t either.
Venus entering Aquarius wakes up the global awareness. What is actually going on? How much of it do we really care about? True colors come out but not everyone can take the energy. With Pluto so close to at 3° of Aquarius, Venus steps into and immediately takes extra power.
Its a bewildering energy. Appreciating Venus in Aquarius requires patience and respect for your experience. Allow things to be in their right time and don’t force anything. There is no quicker way towards sabotage than to try to rush an Aquarian. They will be very efficient if you just get out of the way.
Things will certainly feel different this weekend starting Saturday morning. Other worldly but somehow comforting in the alienation. We aren’t meant to change to fit in. We are meant to be ourselves and fit where it works. Followers will have trouble with this transit, Venus in Aquarius does not follow trends, it sets them. Any places where you have given your power to someone else will cause discomfort. Notice these now. As the Sun, Mercury and then Mars enter Aquarius this theme only gets stronger.
Codependency is being put on blast. Notice how you do it, address it and move on.

Aquarius loves humanity… its just the humans that are problematic! 😉
But for real, we love to see an underdog overthrow the power. Big voices are arising for the oppressed. Don’t get caught up in the details of what someone else thinks or believes. Judge them by their heart. If it doesn’t feel right, get away from them. Go on your sacred journey.
Personally I love when Venus is in Aquarius. There is a fresh vibe to the ether. Novelty is more appreciated, so be you and take some chances in your relationships. This can be the kick that a stale situation needs. Either it will end it for good, or bring it back from the dead. Either way, we move forward. Alternative forms of relating and connecting outweigh tradition and convention. Be sure that you are communicating… with words… Venus in Aquarius can assume that others can read her mind. Nothing is further from the truth. She is too unique to be predictable.
Social gatherings will get a boost from Venus and she only has a short time before meeting with Pluto. The weekend can be very fun if we can keep our heads out of our asses. A better way to say this ‘We can have a very good time if we don’t overthink it!’

Looking forward –> The new moon is right around the corner on Sunday the 18th. The moon enters Aquarius just three hours later and meets with Venus just over six hours after the new moon. As Aquarius wave is building. This is a massive bloom of collective energy. How are we going to use it? Can you envision it leading to a better world? Beware of being drawn into division, gloom, doom, catastrophe and neurosis. Use the power of Aquarius to transcend the bullshit and picture something awesome.
