Saturn is creating space from Neptune after the two met on February 20th. More than a little bit of chaos has been created socially and it will take years to reorganize. On a personal level, this separation allows us to get back to the core benefits of Saturn. The impulsivity of Aries isn’t the most fitting space for Saturn, but it certainly isn’t the worst.
To benefit from this time we must be brave yet patient. To think things through but not take it too far as to be neurotic or worrisome. Saturn in Aries over the next two and a half years can give us the strength to push through tough times. Saturn in Aries may allow us to break free of long standing patterns of abuse and manipulation. In the end, what matters is the moment. With patience and understanding, we can see that future moments can be made better or worse through current choices.
How do we balance living a good life now with experiencing peace and balance in the future? This certainly isn’t a time to binge or overdo it. There is a middle ground between feast and famine, between hedonism and piety. Are you dancing with these lines? Which direction do you lean? Is it possible to go a bit in the other direction? Just for balance…

Pluto is in Aquarius
Pluto has pushed into the 5th degree of Aquarius. Pluto’s journey in Aquarius is just being solidified, so everything around Pluto can feel new, disruptive, agitating, but also exciting. Sometimes there is just too much going on. Pluto rules the underworld and that which we would rather keep to ourselves. The hyperexposure of social, public and collective truths leave a bad taste in the mouth and may even upset the stomach. If we try to deny it, Pluto will double down and sometimes life feels like a medicine ceremony.
Don’t get bogged down in the details as the geopolitical landscape continues to show the ugliness that has until now lurked in the shadow realms.
Saturn Sextile Pluto
As Saturn creates a friendly connection to Pluto, a restructuring is occurring. Energy is a little intense but it gets there subtly and over time. This week could have been a buildup to a confrontation with long buried energies and patterns. On an energetic level, we are digging deep and holding strong. There isn’t a lot of room to take a break even though that may be what is called for.
Friday is a critical point in this transit. Do a check in today to see if you are using your energy in a way that you want to. Consider what you have to do Saturday, Sunday and early next week. There can be a tendency to want to get everything done at once but that is just not realistic. If you can muster the focus, make plans to do things and get projects done at future dates. This is a great time to cancel plans and then make new ones.

In your relationships the energy helps people work together. Longer term connections can make great strides around their shared issues. Beware of controlling tendencies, remember that you only have autonomy because no one is trying to tell you how to live. Not everyone evolves in the same way, sometimes it can actually look like they are going backwards. They aren’t, it’s just the pressure you put on yourself projecting onto their life.
Substances, especially alcohol, are becoming more and more troubling. As we step deeper into Pluto in Aquarius, the price to pay is higher and higher. Staying stuck in substance abuse and addiction will kill you and your energy even faster these days. Know what you are doing, stay real with yourself. And from the bottom of my heart, consider eliminating alcohol from your life, it will only get better.
The pattern emerging is that ‘we cannot avoid ourselves’. Escapes, vacations and personal journeys no longer take us away from who we are. In fact, they bring us closer to ourselves.
This transit tells us to enjoy life for all its richness.
This can only be done if we look at ourselves clearly and as fully as possible.
Time to get real, that’s where God lives.
