<3 ON SADNESS AND RENEWAL <3
Lingerings stressors build up over time.
Tiny grains of sand become immovable objects on a hellish beach.
The will power dwindles into collapsed shapes, wallowing in shadows, mired in sadness.
Having turned away from light, the future appears bleak and listless.
Returning to grace becomes a flight of fancy.
How, from this place, could one ever imagine something bright, something new, something wonderful.
Without their quotient of light, the bodies systems begin to breakdown.
Pain, physical, mental, and emotional, permeate the bodies.
This is a uniquely crafted and well designed prison.
Whereas the key to release is within the bars themselves.
The very fabric of reality fosters a collapsed yet solid field.
The springlike essence of like cannot permeate the personal internment.
God itself has not changed
There is grace, love, and beauty abound
But the receptive principle is no longer being practiced
We have the ability to become our emotional experience
At times, when things are lovely or awful
It may feel as if THIS is all that exists
This is a necessity in our world, a little caveat of being human
There is a difference, however, between a life altering event of joy, shock, and grief and compulsively/obsessively identifying with a passing feeling
Lingering sadness and depression are, in some ways, an over identification with a gust of wind
Something that was passing through and became lodged in our being
Instead of allowing for it to pass, we consider, discuss, and ruminate
Our focus becomes our experience and our experience our reality
Both time and energy invested in a feeling will engrave it into our psyche
Before long, the process is unconscious and breeds unchecked
We may not have noticed, but we have successfully created the prison
This is how trauma creates the pain body
Projecting out the energy, coded by the psyche, in reaction to the experience.
Victim mentality is real and is unavoidable after a tragic experience
This, however, doesn’t have to last any longer than your ability to observe and feel
An overarching sense of faith in the universe is helpful, but perhaps not the easiest to come by.
When possible, infuse light into your beliefs, your thoughts, your plans.
If a painful situation comes back to visit you, see it from a refreshed lens.
We are not obligated to identify with our past experiences, remember that this is a choice.
Work on accepting what has happened…
Not because you deserved it
Not because of karma
But because you need your energy back!
Living in the moment requires redirecting resources that are invested in past experiences.
It is vital to feel the impact of experiences, but it is optional to dive into them, explore them, and relive them.
Your body always knows what you have been through.
Your soul knows your losses and your gains.
The unfoldment of our lives’ greatest experiences is no mistake.
The timing is perfect, regardless of our attempts to influence sed timing.
You can open the oven door all that you’d like, but the bread isn’t done baking until it is done baking.
Even if you know exactly what you want the bread to look, smell, and taste like, you still must be patient until it reaches that point.
Know that, in the end, you set the standard for how you are treated
We set the standards for what we ‘deserve’
That work can only happen in the here and now
Nothing from the past can be changed
The future cannot be lived, only imagined
Plan for success, but stay firmly planted in the moment
ON RENEWAL
Tides begin to shift
The rising waves subside and reveal a safe and serene landscape
Having surrendered to the imagined tsunami
Relief brings us to our knees
Gratitude sweeps through, removing stagnant fears of lack
Despondent no longer, the heart breaks open
A breeze wanders through, stimulating a forgotten wellspring of hope
The body buzzes with life as the vibrations are elevated
How crisp and clean it feels to be present with the potential of experience
We are connected to the all, to the everything
Take a moment of peace in this space, to take it all in
You are free to go, to explore, to meander through the maze of possibilities
While the tide will rise each day, know that all you must do is take a few steps back and observe
Be patient with your development
Things come in waves
And take considerable time to change, and there is nothing wrong with that
Perhaps those chaotic times were just here to break you down
Here to steal your stagnant and rotting energy
Here to break you from the prison
Don’t go back there, it’s neither your home nor your purpose
You can face anything, and life will certainly bring it
Don’t bring it upon yourself
