Venus conjunct Mercury brings us energy to reevaluate our lives.
Maybe we are ready for a change or at the very least an upgrade.
Since early October, the planets have been dancing in the now infamous Grand Water Trine. ((Refer to my many previous posts/emails for more info.)) During this time, Mars has stirred things up. Mercury has us investigating and questioning. The Sun illuminated things and burned off some excess and the moon has us questioning what is safe. When the outer planets, Saturn and Jupiter are involved, the changes are deep and pervasive. The personal planets play their role by making the energy more REAL.
The only planet yet to play a role is Venus. That all changes today, November 24th. In this brief article, I discuss the Mercury conjunction to Venus, which is exact @ 5:52PM Pacific / 8:52PM Eastern. This marks the entrance of Venus into the Grand Water Trine. Symbolizing an attempt to integrate values spurred by deep emotional waves. These values, when applied, cause far reaching life changes that take time to unfold. Some may be abrupt, but this is long term integration. This unfolds over the next 7 days ((subscribe for future posts)) as Venus trines Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, then oppose Uranus before sextile Pluto.
Venus has been spending her time in the fixed waters of Scorpio for a few weeks now. At the onset, Venus squared Pluto and quickly brought deep issues into the field. Whatever was lingering at the beginning of November is a firestorm at this point. Perhaps these energies have been used to put some things to bed. However, the environment points more to something that still requires attention, decisiveness, vulnerability and clarity.
As Mercury is still moving retrograde during this meeting, there is a lot to still investigate, discover and uncover. Mercury goes direct on the 31st of November and then is out of post shadow on the 15th of December. Until that time, there is more to be uncovered and also expressed. The meeting of Venus and Mercury, however, represents a very important point in the journey. There is a graceful upgrade possible, one where all parties can feel seen, heard and understood.
Not Everyone Wants to be Seen
Not everyone is ready for this. The key word is ‘seen’. In my experience, most people love being heard. We are all crying for some sort of attention. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s just the nature of existing, we like be acknowledged. Being seen is different. Being seen is being uncovered. To be seen, ideally we want to be seen. Otherwise, we can be defensive and recalcitrant, projective and angry. To be seen is to have secrets uncovered. Secrets are in place to control exposure and outcome, we will fight to protect them.
The level of exposure right now is extreme. This is coming to a head as Venus and Mercury make it personal. We are being exposed to the truth that lives in our depths. If this sounds like a nightmare, please reconsider. Often we are too busy, too wounded, or even misguided to see ourselves clearly. This wreaks havoc in our lives. It crushes dreams, health, connections and spiritual development. During these months to end 2025, we are being given an opportunity to recognize the roots of the wounding, to learn why we can’t slow down, and to see where we are being lied to or are lying to ourselves.
Honesty
Honesty is such a virtue. It allows us to move forward in our life without unnecessary impediments. There are always challenges in life. When we lie, falsify, forge or manipulate we are only making it harder for ourselves in the future. If that were all that happened, it would simply be a more difficult path for the individual. The trouble is, our lies and deceptions involve other people as well. In truth, our darkest patterns disproportionately impact those who are closest to us.
Through being dishonest, we just end up hurting ourselves and the people we love the most. At a time when it can feel like the world is shifting on its axis, it has never been more important to be authentic.

The Greatest Service
Did you ever stop to consider how helpful it is to be in touch with yourself? Every person around you benefits from this practice. For one reason or another, alignment is hard to come by in our world. So many distractions from our emotions. Duties to take care of and image to uphold. Goals to set and blah blah blah… you get it. The majority of us are walking around reactively motivated by emotions. Instead of regularly finding our center, we bounce from one place to another. We fill this seeming ‘need’ or desire here and then move on. It’s an exhausting way of life and it certainly does not foster peace in the world. Over time we will just need more and more to stem the tidal wave of personal awareness.
When we check in regularly we are acknowledging the importance and messages within the emotions. Just to sink in and feel is to recognize the innate wisdom we carry. By allowing that which chases us, to catch up to us… we are saying thank you for existing to all that is. This empowers us. This resets our nervous system. This calms the turbulent waters of our reality. This puts us in touch with a higher power, with the source of our own energy.
We become a calm port in the storm. Others in our lives, spaces and thoughts feel the calm glow we carry. We create openings, gaps in the chaos. These spaces are sacred and become options for the rest of humanity.
Through working on yourself, to clear out old misguided beliefs and emotional reactivity… we clear a path for the rest of our family, our network, for humanity.
Whether you gather in a group or do so individually, the practice of mindful reflection is a gift to the entire world. Urge yourself to enter this space daily. Create spaces and places in your life that remind you to go inward and be present. It is from the inner world that we ready ourselves for outer duties and responsibilities. If the world outside feels overwhelming, go inward and grab a little peace.
A Time of Grace
A period of grace kicks off this evening, don’t be surprised if you are asked to receive many blessings. Not all blessings are easy to receive, so you may have to get a little uncomfortable.
Call to the universe, call to your guides. See the effective, loving, and positive resolution to your conflicts. Surrender control and ask for guidance.
We all know the places where we are constantly efforting to make progress. Perhaps we blame ourselves for the stagnancy. For this night and the week to come, look for how you can shift your perspective. Instead of placing blame, add surrender.
Perhaps the plan is so grand that your limited scope of hopes and dreams doesn’t even scratch the surface. The universe refuses to allow you to play it small anymore.
The job that doesn’t fit, the unfulfilling relationship, that outdated view of self… its time to just let it go and receive the upgraded energy. We must tell the truth to ourselves and to those around us. The truth is sobering but exactly what we need.
Get in touch with where you are, what is working for you and what you want to do with your time.
We may find that the mistakes we have made all start with self abandonment. Running away from or compromising essential pieces of ourselves. Recognize this pattern of people pleasing and forgive yourself. In the future, these past experiences will work to protect you. You have learned hard lessons. There is no longer a need to hold yourself in a space of judgement.
Rest for the weary. Take some please.
Find the quietest part of yourself and reflect.
