As Venus, Sun and Mars oppose Jupiter and square Chiron, ((January 9th-13th)) our incubating identity shifts feel the weight of the collective. What does it mean to have fresh eyes in a wounded world? How much of what happens has absolutely nothing to do with us?
There are two worlds that want to collide but I want you to focus on having them meet one another. International negotiations will be taking place. Depending on the evolution of the individuals involved, things will progress in the most fitting fashion. These ‘leaders’ have been selected by the stars, for better or worse, to represent and help play out deep and long standing patterns.
Are we ready to accept our role in the creation of turmoil without damning ourselves to suffering? Can we build bridges towards those who have hurt us or we have hurt?
These lessons and questions are far reaching, philosophical, spiritual and complex.
Can we discern what is good for us? If we are run by emotions, that answer is no. So herein lies the way through. Can we regulate our emotions? Can we maintain loving neutrality towards what we witness?
As Eris and Chiron continue to come together, the ugly zit is finally popping onto the face of the Earth.
If and only if we can make peace with ourselves, we can maintain peace with others. So as Eris and Chiron bring up the deepest collective woundings, we must acknowledge where we are at war with ourselves. All of us have wounds. Life is a challenge to survive. Humanity seems to have reached a new age where modern advances allow us to worry less about food and sickness. As this occurs, the old patterns of trauma and survival show up in the social sphere.
“Surviving” the Popularity Contest
Personality and status are the new obsession. Social media allows us each to quantify our progress. It is a mental illness, or course, but it is very important. Through the social dynamics of deification and cancel culture we are learning that none of it matters. Instead of starving to death because of drought, we are embarrassed and cancelled. We then work through emotions from being publicly shamed.
It is certainly a death and a very uncomfortable one. Throughout the Covid pandemic it was all the rage to cancel people for establishing bodily autonomy. I know countless people who subjected themselves to things they would never do on their own, simply because they feared the consequence of social judgement. Those who did stand strong in their beliefs, in my experience, are the strongest voices in my life today. They went through the fire and are forged new from it. Not without their battle wounds, but hey, cool scars bro!
Each of us will face this at some point. We will be in the wrong, misguided, secretive and manipulative. As humans we certainly aren’t perfect. Then the day will come when we are exposed, and we will have to face it. In my estimation, it’s better to do that with yourself and your God then to wait for the world to do it. These times are asking us to get real with ourselves. If we cannot, we end up wasting our lives running from our feelings as God attempts to speak to us.
Blind Leading the Wise
We are all being drawn together. The cosmos are leading us towards a communal gathering. Polarizing events are continuing to occur worldwide. Those who represent countries are in the spotlight even more than usual. Their unconscious woundings are on the verge of determining the fate of the world.
No human being is prepared to handle the pressure of leadership as it is built today. Some may do better than others, but that is subjective.
Instead, we have fallible and wounded human beings holding so much power and influence that they cannot help but fail. This doesn’t have to be catastrophic, but they all will fail. This is not because they are failures, or because they are evil, or even because they are humans and we are born fallible. No, it is because the systems that have been built are no longer sustainable.
Its Not Working
Have you ever been part of a business or undertaking that makes zero money and is actually in the red? People still show up everyday as the business continues to take on water. This is our current system. The patriotism, nationalism, terror this terror that. The ethos behind these systems is constant and unrestrained economic growth. This is a very low frequency.
That same way of functioning destroys all that is sacred in the name of money. I am sure you understand how this works. Cheap labor and even slave labor is the cost for easy to come by goods and services. Resources are not evenly distributed. Those who sacrifice their own blood, sweat and tears OR are willing to sacrifice, enslave, or dominate others are given access to and control of resources.
Hey, I am not out here crying that the world is a broken place and humanity is awful. If anything, I am claiming quite the opposite. I believe that we live in a wonderful world that, for some reason, is running on a violent, oppressive and self destructive operating system.
I find human beings to be charming, sensitive and loving. Each and every person is a blessing. Those who are problematic have experienced major woundings that motivate their awful actions. Problems certainly exist, but people, in and of themselves, are not the problem.
Some semblance of order is necessary, we can’t just allow people to do whatever they want. In my experience, individuals who require intervention and consequence are few and far between. A different approach, focusing on WHY they commit criminal acts against themselves and others, is what is needed.
If the Intention is to Punish, What Results will we find?
Our societies are not built on healing. Governments are built on corruption. It’s not shocking to acknowledge this. Many may not want to admit it, but it doesn’t make it untrue.
The changes that have already begun only continue to amplify this year. More and more people are fed up with the old narratives that were established by the war mongering world of the past hundred years.
Focus Close to You, Focus on what you Love
Our communities and families are special little pockets of intentional creation. Regardless of what goes on in the world, we can manifest what we choose within are close circles. When more circles do this, we get a massive upgrade to whole towns, cities and regions.
I do my best to love every person that I come in contact with. I am sensitive to how people respond in person and online. I do my best to make peace with all of my relations, no matter what they may have done to me. I am trying to do my part in creating a ring of light and healing around myself and everyone I know.
I have plenty of room to improve, and for this I am grateful. Otherwise, it would probably be pretty boring to be alive.
Turning Over a New Leaf
In order to gain a new way of being, we must die to the old one. With so many beautiful people in the world, we can have a new world emerge as the old one falls away. With love, empathy, compassion and teamwork, we can seamlessly transition. Many of our attachments are simply to habit and ritual. Tradition is just another word for habit that hold symbolic importance. Many traditions will live on, but many are simply vestiges of a time past, no longer serving the good of humanity or the Earth.
People matter. Your neighbors matter, just as much as your child. We all are here to be together. Tensions keep rising as we pay attention to publicly displayed narratives. We argue with each other over topics and issues of which we don’t understand the nuance. It comes from a good place, we all wanna be on the right side of history. We want to defend the defenseless and serve the afflicted. The trouble is, we can’t do this with our opinions.
There are numerous ways to make a difference and please follow your hearts wisdom. Those who are closest to you, in love and in proximity, focus on them. Give them your presence, your time, your attention and your heart.
Somehow, in some way, you ended up in the same places as these other souls at this exact time in history. That is significant, never forget that.
Remain Calm and Build Your Inner Light
As things escalate, do your best to remain in a state of peace. Does that sound crazy? Well, maybe it is. That is fine, we are all kinda nuts anyway.
The point is, we all want a world that is safe and peaceful. As many choose to fall into hysteria and chaos, we can only find peace within. So keep up with your self care practices. Spend time outdoors, reading, listening to music or laughing with people close to you.
Where it feels very serious, ask yourself if it really IS that serious. Sometimes we think we want to change everything, but really we just want attention. There are better ways of getting attention. Take a moment to recognize where you are coming from before you act.
Focus on the ongoing situations in Minneapolis or Venezuela will tax your system. The price to pay is high. There is a collective suck that draw out your vital life force and light. If you choose to engage and explore these unfolding, ensure to build your inner light.
Be a bright light that shines outward towards these situations. With that inner strength and knowledge of self, you can observe any situation and still maintain your center. Always maintain your identity before engaging salacious information.
The best way to do this is to be in touch with your own mind, body and emotions. Take time to recognize your beautiful role in this world. Set little goals everyday. Be intentional with your time. Reward yourself when you complete a task. Own where you desire to change. Schedule things that you look forward to. Keep track of your progress and never forget to just love yourself for absolutely no reason at all.
