Mars continues its Retrograde Journey

“Getting Real”
November 19th – November 28th
The square with Neptune is still present today, especially if there is energy that needs to be expressed or communicated. While the aspect was in effect (over the last three days), we may have used less than direct means for communicating our needs. At the worst this is passive aggression, but could also look like denial or suppression.
Some of the things we planned during that time might not line up exactly how we wanted, but that’s okay, just more room for getting in touch with our desires, wants, and needs.
Today, and for the next week, there is a different tone to the air. By November 28th, Mars will exact it’s trine to Saturn. This weekend may feel like a reprieve, it may feel like a physical relief but with this aspect to Saturn looming and strengthening, there is a reality check afoot.
Quite a different environment is fostered by next weekend as we tend to get our frustrations on the table with Mars aspecting Saturn.
This is a wonderful time to focus on what needs to get done. What needs to be said, what boundaries need to be set. Doing all of these things with a playful spirit and kindness is the difference between joy and suffering.
Remember that difficult communication is a blessing. It is the beginning of the end of untenable situations. Mars Rx trine to Saturn is creating a stronger foundation for our ventures, ideas, and relationships.
This time can indicate hard work, but fruitful work. What you invest during this time will have lasting impacts. Keep that in mind when you want to just ‘fly off the handle’ or your temper gets the best of you. Use discipline and a sober mindset to take back the wheel.
So much can get done, but we must find ways to work around and often through our own blockages.
