We aren’t here Forever

This is a finite experience. Were we to be eternal physical beings, perhaps, during this life, we could dance with the gods of the sky and truly get to know them. However, human bodies age and decay. We are not here, in this reality, forever. We must know our limits and choose how we explore. There simply isn’t enough time to practice everything and master all crafts. Despite humanity’s best efforts to delay death and extend life, we are only here for so long. Knowing this, it behooves us to be as present in the moment as is possible. The most enduring and nurturing philosophies seem to agree with this sentiment. There is a depth and profundity to presence-ing oneself in the experience, as it finds you, wherever it finds you. The immediacy of mortality is undeniable. Knowing that something ends has a way of making you more aware of its nuance. Pressure builds when there is a terminal point. Death represents a retaining wall against which life finds its definition. If life continued forever, definition of reality and creation of boundaries may seem unnecessary or at the very least unimportant.

If and where we can, it behooves us to acknowledge and grieve what has been lost. In my years of work in mediumship and through my own grief, I have received a similar message from all those who have crossed over.

Keep living, follow your heart, enjoy yourself.

Your friends, pets, and family members no longer carry the burdens of this Earth with them. The soul continues to grow and expand. There are challenges and lessons. They are no longer clouded, however, by the anxiety ridden and oft neurotic ways of the Earthly human mind. If you want to honor those that have passed on, learn from their lives and what they did, both helpful and detrimental. Always go and LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE. No deceased being wants to see you crying in a heap on the floor. Grieving is necessary and YES cry, but don’t allow the self pity and victimhood to stop you from living and sharing with those who are still here.
