Leading Ourselves :: Cosmic Channel 10.31.2024

Leadership is important, don’t get me wrong.

Leadership, however, begins from within. Starting with you, starting with me.
Any group, community, society, or movement is a collection of individuals inspiring momentum.
No matter who is appointed, chosen, or seizes power, they can only work with the collective energy. They can only lead us so far forward or take us so far backward as the population will allow and stand for.

When a few or a majority of individuals have no identity of their own, the wheels begin to fall off. The fatal flaw of those in doubt is to attempt to seek certainty in the direction of another. Those who lack personal volition will need assistance. Perhaps they just become a drain on the group. Some may find purpose in guiding these individuals. This is beautiful work.

Ideally, those who can’t seem to find their center can be taught to look within themselves. They can be guided towards fulfilling their own needs. Through taking responsibility for their role in their own lives, they can begin to connect more deeply to themselves and unearth their true nature and desires. Once this process begins, we are on the road to personal power recovery. It is quite challenging to question mass movements in pressurized situations when we are still learning to assess and navigate our emotions and inner challenges.

Sadly, in our world there are systems in place that require and demand us to be productive in some way towards the larger goals of society. The moment we are born, we begin to accrue debt and expenses. At some point, when no longer under the care of a guardian, we have to create some sort of value in order to survive.

Because of this, a wandering soul, just looking to find themselves, is likely to be funneled into the wormhole of productivity as dictated by the society in which they live.

The point here is this. Instead of being allowed to just explore and wander the earth, doing so makes you vulnerable to the mass mindless movements. A cog in the wheel. In a way, the social safety net limits our ability to explore ourselves.

I am not against the society we have built. The comforts and advancements have allowed for many of the beautiful things I do with my life. I do believe, however, there needs to be some check ins now and then to see just how far we’ve allowed our own creation to take us away from the creation that WE ARE. This is not to create a hierarchy or to tear anyone down. Each of us are doing the same thing. We are exploring our time on earth in the best way we see fit.

In my estimation, all things should be questioned, explored, and understood as deeply as is feasible. The moment that ideology steps in, we have lost our way in favor of ‘security, certainty, or safety’. When we are no longer willing to question our own beliefs, we become victim to their stubborness. We block our own growth and ask others to follow us into a myopic world view.

There are few things that beg for ideological fervor. Love, compassion, understanding? Beyond that, philosophies that are open to change are far more powerful and helpful.

Karmic Ties

The law of karma plays a very imminent and physical role on this earth. Perhaps there are other realms, lives we lived where we did not create many lasting impressions. Whether it is an injury to a bone or the birth of a child. Some things live on for the rest of your life, holding you in a tremendously different space than they would otherwise.

Yes, here on Earth, seemingly small decisions change the course of your soul’s evolution.

Often I consider what has brought me here, to earth in this lifetime. To me, the overarching theme of life on earth is to bring things into balance. The dense physical nature of our planet is indicative of bringing very specific energy points into focus. I am not sure what I have accumulated throughout my previous lifetimes, but I know that I am being asked, in this lifetime, to become aware of it.

This awareness, as it buds and unfolds, guides me down paths that seem predestined. I always have free will, but the container in which I exercise that free will is, at times, predetermined.

As a living breathing being here on planet earth, the defined physical existence is a container for the expression of my free will. Am I still free? Have fun with that idea, consider what freedom actually is. What holds us, what fosters the defined container?

Many of the experiences I have endured in my 42+ years seem to have no logical connection to what has happened since I have been alive. Some people I have met and spent considerable time with, the energy we’ve shared has been both traumatic and fantastical. Whether it is a long term connection or someone I have met deep in the Grand Canyon on a backpacking trip, these individuals, these souls, are everywhere.

Could it be that these blessed souls are representations of previous experiences? Maybe they are the exact soul I met before. Maybe they are an individuated piece of the divine that just happens to fit my souls evolution… and I their’s.

The learning curve, the reawakening, the undoing of karmic knots. I have shed so many tears. It is as if my heart has been broken in two so many times that it cannot break any more. Where did all this come from? How did I end up here?

Clearing the way for a Deeper Connection to God

As a child I was exposed to some very intense energy from the Catholic church. I found it altogether useless and treated it with disrespect and disdain. I was fascinated as a young child by the hypocrisy and lack of personal power that the parishioners showed. Numerous priests in Baltimore turned out to be pedophiles. The tie that bound the parishioners seemed to be a sense of unworthiness, guilt, and shame. I wanted nothing to do with this archaic and sad cult, but I had very little say as I was just a child.

As an adult, I am grateful for my experiences in the church. It taught me about the occult. It taught me about cults. It taught me of the fragility of the human psyche. The greatest gift, however, is it broke me towards the idea of a vengeful and judgmental god figure. I railed so vehemently against the ideals pushed towards me that I developed a temporary atheism that cleared my psyche of this manipulative, masculine, hateful god archetype.

Although I spent my teenage through twenties as a ‘godless’ wanderer, it allowed me to find a true connection to god energy, to source, to spirit. Had I been given a more loving concept of God or Jesus, I may not have worked so hard to delete the programming and start over.

The Catholic church that I experienced came so hard for me. I was shamed, blamed, expelled, and ridiculed by adults. All because I refused to conform to their brainwash. I don’t believe it was intentional, and I love them for it. They were simply doing what they thought was best. However misguided I found it, in the end, it was perfect.

It was a ritualistic cleansing. My personal belief is that there are infinite routes towards finding the God in oneself. Some call it awakening, self actualization, ascension… whatever you call it, there is no specific way that all people should get there. If anything, such a journey is the most individuated of all possible experiences in this multifaceted universe.

Some Things are no Longer Needed

Knowing what ISN’T for you is far more important than exploring possible options. We can lose ourselves for lifetimes in various ventures. Tangents abound the moment we enter a new exciting phase. Each turn leads to more and more potentials. Knowing where we DO NOT want to go allows our mind and spirit to rest easy and focus more on what IS possible and desirable.

When you see someone going in the ‘wrong’ direction, just love them and let them know you care. They will figure it out when the time comes. The route back to themselves may even pass by you again, and at that point you can share a laugh about the follies. You can discuss what each of you have learned in your adventures.

God it’s hard to let go, but it is much easier to let go than it is to hold on to something that wants to leave. In the end, we will never control the outcome, so it is best to surrender to the whims of the greater symphony of life.

The Present Transformation

Whatever comes out of this time we are entering, it won’t be about the little battles. The cosmic and monumental shifts are inevitable. As more and more of us continue to do our personal work, the social load becomes optional. We all still must play a role in the greater changes, but we won’t be pulled into emotionally reactive turmoil. Instead, we can become a loving and compassionate participant in a grand awakening. An awakening of which, we ourselves are part of.

No one is immune to the third eye detonation. None will escape the vibratory upgrades as the earth herself evolves. We are earth. The music of the spheres is becoming more refined and consistent. Colors, sounds, feelings, and ways of being are coming back to us.

The way that it started, the connection to all, the unification of light and consciousness. This is returning to us. Like the slow drip of an IV to a dehydrated body. The divine light is slowly flowing into our spirits and flooding down into our consciousness and bodies. We purge the toxins of greed, lack, bitterness, and separation. We must rest and recuperate. A new day dawns in which we all remember how to BE with ourselves and thus BE with each other.

Don’t despair over small things, but let your inner journey be your guiding light and central focus. Allow the workings of karma to assist you. Instead of cutting yourself down, allow yourself to grow and flourish. You can always prune yourself along the way. Trust me, the universe and other people will let you know where you’ve outgrown your britches.

Be so full of your own light that it forces others to see the light within themselves.
