Navigating Life’s Obstacles: Embrace Your Inner Path

Getting around the obstacles is part of the path. Without challenges we are dead, numb, melting into the soil. Instead of looking for the path of least resistance, ignore the path and focus on inner guidance. This way, the path will become the way. These may sound like platitudes and indeed they are. All great teachings are in fact just that. To offer anything more in this candid and public arena would be disingenuous. To attempt to offer specific guidance without touching your loving living presence would be a dishonor to what makes you YOU.

I truly believe (quite to the chagrin of many) that each and every individual is on their soul path. That those who suffer grand injustice at the hands of corrupt power hungry authority WILL grow and thrive along their journey.

I don’t have to be right, or validated by any other, for this is the path of the fool. To seek validation through agreement and plaudits is to mortgage individuality for the illusion of belonging. Instead, allow your inner vision to become stronger with each passing day. Allow your desires, wishes, and wisdom to merge into a golden path that unfolds with each step you take.

As you follow this path, you will learn that the way forward is never guaranteed. Faith is essential, it is trusting the future you. It is trusting the past you. In this way, it is trusting that the universe has some greater plan. While that plan may not be predetermined, the parameters are set. May you grow in your inner awareness in each moment, and blossom because of it.

Peace, Pain, Regret

I have my own fears and harmful patterns. Everyday my first job is to ensure that these underlying habits, patterns, and programming do not disturb my ability to witness the worlds beauty and my role in creating it. Each day I recognize the past events that I wish had become something else. Other people, loving souls, that I lacked the awareness to appreciate. Instead of sweet goodbyes, there were bitter and aggressive endings.

One person, in fact, left this planet while I was still harboring a resentful energy. She was lovely, but our connection had worn on me like sandpaper on a sunburn. The salve I chose was to block and ignore her messages. I found them complaintive and brash. I found the letters to be insensitive and inflammatory.

Whatever the case, I was too triggered internally to receive the message beyond the words. This former lover and forever friend was hurting. Her screams were poetic expressions of inner turmoil and grief. Valiant efforts to transmute an upbringing of psychological torture. My own inner demons were roused by her cries. Instead of reading her words, processing, and reflecting, I jumped into defense mode.

“Is this about me?” I wondered. Yet without any reflection, I reacted upon these thoughts. “This person is stealing my energy” I thought. Never considering that she was shining a light into the parts of me that preferred to be held in the dark. Instead of liberating these parts of myself, I had chosen to keep them in the cages created by the authority of my youth.

She was a siren song of rebellious freedom, and that comes at a cost in our world. The sad irony, the heroes of our enslaved population are the ones who are subjected to the greatest attacks. This Saturn bound planet finds pleasure in suppressing the route towards freedom. Some kind of cosmic joke? Or perhaps a potential not yet fully explored. Through our trials and tribulations, we shall discover a new way to glory.

The long road traveled by my dear friend in her life, it is not over. She lives on in the realms unseen, guiding me day by day. She shows up in my most important moments. While she wants me to succeed, she knows that it is on my timeline. A timeline that neither begins nor ends in this lifetime.

There was always a path through this mess of a canyon. I didn’t always like the path, but it surely was there.

The Ongoing Connection to Something Bigger

Within my sessions with clients and my relationships with friends and family, my gift of piercing the veil has tutored me in walking the line of life. There are tremendous lessons and values to be learned and followed here on Earth. These, however, are not the only guidelines I must observe. Even more important is the direction of my soul. That inner calling that can, will, and has sabotaged my efforts to manicure a perfect sense of security and happiness here on Earth.

Faith in Action

The more that humans evolve, the greater the challenge to control us. Efforts will be made to distract us from our own personal heaven. You know the signature, they will trigger the stress response and get you to feel responsible for something that you cannot control. Before long, we lose our identity as we identify with the reported victim. Our helplessness to effect meaningful change becomes a further investment in the victim identity. A fruitless cycle ensues, challenging our ability to stand firm and trust God.

If you can’t seem to stop being pulled into stress, hatred and upheaval… you are doing great. This ain’t supposed to be easy. The reporting being done on all forms of media is a crack in the dimensional field. When observing an atrocity, remember that each soul involved is perfectly loved by God. Challenging times do occur. Some of them, you simply cannot impact directly. Say your prayers, focus on positive outcomes, send help where you can.

But please do not lose yourself. The greatest assistance to humanity that we can provide is to be a clear and salient presence in the lingering fog of enmeshment. Hold your center, and know that you can and will provide solace to others when the time arrives. That time and place will be for you to decide, and will never be delivered to you by those who claim the sky is falling.

Learn from Those Who Hold their Center

We all need some guidance from time to time, so instead of looking to those who rally others in fearful energy, look to those who have direction all their own. Instead of following their direction, follow their example and look inward for your own direction.

Our brains are wired to trust those who seem confident. Don’t let this vestigial structure get you confused. Confidence is a dime by the dozen, but calm and peace is invaluable. Look for that calm, peaceful, non reactive energy. Those who find their purpose from within, and follow it with discipline, are using their connection to source to build their wishes and desires. We all have this ability, but aren’t always in alignment with it’s use.

The changes that are coming to the world are overdue. Don’t fight the shifts. Be prepared to help those who are close to you. Do this by continuing to work on the parts of you that create drama, attachment, and conflict.

When we learn that nothing is permanent, we can truly live in the moment.
